52 Weeks

52 Weeks

Fini!  Didn’t think I could do it, did ya?  Well I barely did, but here I am, completing my first long term blogging project.  Ideally it would have been done every week instead of every 6 . . . . but baby steps.  This has been THE craziest year yet, so many good things, so many challenges but all in all, a fantastic year.  So here they are, the final seven images of my 52 weeks project.

52 Weeks

Wow, my first gumption was to write “I feel like a failure,”  because I haven’t posted in this project for ten weeks. But looking back on everything I’ve accomplished and experienced in the last two and a half months, I only feel pride. Among running three stores with my family, I’ve taken a business trip that allowed me to discover downtown Las Vegas and a personal week in LA with Bryan’s family, which will require an entire post all on its own.  But never fear, I took plenty of pics these past ten weeks and here are my faves.

52 Weeks

Welp.  If you don’t know me personally than you probably don’t know that in the last 6 months, my family business has purchased a Toy Store, Opened a fourth store, condensed and integrated our largest store into said fourth store, participated in two offsite shows and after weeks upon weeks of late nights and skipped days off, are finally getting settled, for now. Amongst all of that, my sister and I have been caring for my grandfather, who’s had too many trips to the hospital, and other various health drama, for any man.  All that said, I’ve barely had enough time to sleep, let alone blog.  But I am very eager to complete the 52 weeks project, so please forgive me for the one subject posting and abundance of Doiron Pics, but after all, he is the real reason for this site, so let’s catch up!

52 Weeks

3 maybe 4, that’s how many weeks I thought I may have missed in my project. Seven. May came and went faster than you can say WildAboutMusicToyJoyAustinRocksTexasRealAustinGifts.   But don’t fret, I took pics of D, just haven’t had time to load them up.  Life has been so blissfully hectic, I’ve had to take a hard look at myself and really prioritize.  Unfortunately, Maman Verdant got sent to the very bottom, ok maybe seeing the dentist is at the very bottom, but I’m trying really hard to deny it, can you tell?  Anyways, please forgive the onslaught of Doiron pictures but here is a snapshot for every week since April 20.

52 Weeks

There has been so much, too much, going on in the last few weeks.  Sometimes it’s felt like there wasn’t enough time to breathe, but its all been so amazing and exciting and so, so much to share!  But first, lets get caught up in my 52 weeks project.  It wasn’t hard to pick photos for these three weeks because there just wasn’t many to choose from, but I’m still proud and feel they do a great job reflecting this time in our life.
